Programme of the first short-term mobility meeting in the Czech Republic

Monday 6 May School Day and Frýdlant nad Ostravicí
8:00 – welcome at school – teachers in headmaster´s office – host students show the school to their guests
8:30 – project results presentations by school groups (Physics classroom)
a/ each school presentation of the organization of the municipality and its finances in the environmental department
b/ ecology and life quality survey results by each school
c/ a town map of noise presentation by each school
d/ other project activities presentation if any
In case of not having enough time for finishing each school presentations, we will continue before lunch.
10:00 – snack in the school (Maths classroom)
11:00 – meeting the mayor in the Town Hall and each school presentation of its town (except CR, they will present it at welcome)
12:30 – continuation of presentations if needed, division into week days groups to work on evaluation of half term project results, their comparison) and lunch in the school canteen
14:00 – 17:00 – trip to the hill Ondřejník (tracking shoes and clothes, 1 hour up and 1 hour down hill, catching some points with GAIA ap or other ap), in case of very very bad weather take sneakers and sport clothes for gym)
After 17:00 – students free evening
18:00 – opera songs concert (for those who are into operas - in Janaček hall –Town hall), entrance fee 120, -Kč)
19:00 – dinner for teachers in the local restaurant (Restaurace Park)
Tuesday 7 May Mapping Day and Sport
8:00 – departure from the school to Technical University of Ostrava https://www.vsb.cz/en
9:00 – mapping workshop
12:00 – 13:00 – lunch in the Technical University canteen
13:00 – continuation of mapping workshop
14:45 – bus back to Sport Centre Kotelna
15:30 – Sport Centre Kotelna – squash, whirlpool, table tennis, beach volleyball
(gym shoes, sport clothes and swimsuit needed)
17:30 – pizza in Sport Centre Kotelna, then free time
18:30 - teachers diner at Imrvere restaurant https://www.imrvere.com/
Wednesday 8 May Orienteering Day and Štramberk – a historical city
(also the National holiday in our country, everything closed)
8:00 – departure from the school to Štramberk (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%A0tramberk)
8:30 – 10:30 - guided visit to the city and its Botanical gardens
11:00 – 13:30 – orienteering course (tracking shoes and clothes, waterproof jacket can be useful)
14:00 – lunch (restaurace Huťařství, Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem) http://www.hutarstvi.cz/
Thursday 9 May Excursion and Museum Day
8:00 – departure from the school to the sewage treatment plant in Frýdek – Místek
10:00 – departure to the U6 Science nad Technology centre in Dolní Vítkovice Ostrava
13:00 – packed lunch and shopping in Nová Karolína shopping park
15:00 – bus back home
Friday 10 May Excursion Day to Šance Dam (water reservoir)
8:00 – departure from the school (tracking shoes and clothes, waterproof jacket can be useful)
9:00 – 10:00 visit to the Šance dam with a guide ( a half of the group, meanwhile the second half of the group will have a time for walking around and taking pictures)
10:00 – 11:00 visit to the Šance dam with a guide ( the second half of the group)
12:00 – work in transnational groups on each day evaluation and project week evaluation at school,
If needed, we can finish after lunch
13:30 – lunch at school
14:30 – delivery of certificates and a farewell cake
