7. SPAIN´S MEETING

  • Great Expectation for our partners visit. All the Scholar Community was excited and prepared a warm wellcoming.

    This is all our planning for the HAPPINESS activity at our school, CEIP Seis de Diciembre in Alcobendas, Madrid:

    1. Wellcoming at the school Hall by our puils of 6th grade. They pladed a beautiful piece prepared by the Music teacher. Authorities from Consejería de Educación de Madrid, DAT-Norte joined us at this special visit.
    2. Previouslu they had painting the VAN logo on clothes bags for all our visitors.
    3. We iniciated a special trip in our VAN Project through EMOTIONS. We travelled all around the school finding a different emotion in each class. We started the visit at  the 3 years old class(one of the tutors is Marcos, The Project coordinator) and met "The Monster of Colours" and his story about the EMOTIONS.
    4. Then we followed the trip to the nest station stop, 5 years old class where pupils showed us by real photos which things made them feel happy. HAPPINESS
    5. Next stop at 1st grade: Pupils sang and danced for us the song "No tengo miedo" (I´m not afraid).FEAR.
    6. After that we could learn how to control the ANGRINESS thanks to the 4th grade pupils with a very special activity: The box of angriness. 
    7. We listened to the 5th grade pupils in English how important is the felling of SADNESS and they recited some poems in Spanish.
    8. At last 6th grade pupils showed us their posters in English worked in cooperative way about the things in the world that are disgusting for them. They explained in English the DISGUST and disgusting or not disgusting things for them.Guest were invited  to write what they like and what they don´t like. They also sang a song in English for all our visitors.
    9.  Breaktime and coffee with the other teachers and authorities (Townhall and Consejería de Educación de Madrid). After Time break erasmus teachers visitors were interacting in different classes with our children and doing some jobshadowing work. Pupils were really excited to be able to work with them or sing, dance or talk in English.
    10. Formation with University professors.
