The students participate to a local festival. The main purpose of this activity was to increase students' cultural and music knowledge.

French Festival :

1) Bessilles area May 2019:

All students from College Leon Cordas went to Bessilles Area to see a show  prepared and played by the students of the college.

A lot of children were there (from nursery , then primary and college).

Polish Festival

Students from the Polish school participated in the festival of theaters in Nowogard

Italian Festival:

Italian students took part in the Festival "UVERNADA" 2019. It is a Festival born as a twinning activity with the Estivada of Rodez, an important Occitan Fesival, but after eight years it has become an important event for the enhancement of the traditional music of the Occitan Valleys. Italian students have learnt more about the "D'òc" culture which considers the importance of inclusion and exchange its raison d'être . This year the Edition was even more important because it was the meeting of different cultures and realities: Saluzzo and Matera, European Capital of Culture 2019. The project, in collaboration with Fondazione Matera-Basilicata 2019, Onyx Jazz Club of Matera and Scuola Alto Perfezionamento Musicale of Saluzzo, tells in a unique concert the sounds of Matera mixed and combined with the music of the orchestra playing live and directed by the famous American artist Joe Johnson.

Students enjoyed the event and at the end of the concert went on stage to meet the artists and took photos with them. The major of the city was happy that a big group of teenagers had attended the event, showing that younger generations appreciate traditions and show interest in culture exchange even on a local scale. The experience helped them to develop their cultural awareness and build a positive sense of identity.
