On 14th December 2020 we had our first online meeting with the "new" students taking part into the project. Our project was planned to be ended by September 2020, but for Covid Reasons we asked one more year to complete all the activities. Unfortunately, most of the students involved in the project in the previous years, are now attending Secondary school, so we had to find a way to involve new students. That was not easy also because we had to find a way to motivate students in Virtual Activities!
We have to admit it, we were a little bit nervous about it.

Anyway, the meeting started.
French students were at school, 3/4 for each computer, sparkling with enthusiasm.
Polish and Italian students were at home (thanks again, Covid), but not less enthusiastic. 
A fil rouge connected everyone: Santa Claus hats!! 

Ready to start with the activities. 
We used this first meeting to "break the ice" between the partecipants and also to explore some features that Zoom offers, like the possibility to change the background of the video or the user's name. We wanted the kids to become familiar with Zoom, since it will probably be the platform used for our international online exchange, this coming spring (thanks Covid number 3)...and we must say they did a pretty good job with it!
Music is the main topic of our project, and it was nice to see how happy they were to share with the others their favourite singers or their favourite kind of music, through background images, names and brief explanations. 
And when we asked them to choose each one a song in order to create our special "Erasmus+ Christmas Playlist"...what an excitement! It could sound obvious, but it's always beautiful to see how music helps to go over the borders.

a curious mixture of different artists and sounds, that well reflects the spirit of our French, Polish and Italian teenegers. It really deserves a listening!
Satisfied by our results, there were only two things left to do: wearing our Santa's hats, and wishing in all our languages...Merry Christmas! Buon Natale! Joyeux Noël! Wesołych Świąt!
