Thanks to the Erasmus+ project I was able to discover the difference between, Polish and French culture. In addition, this project allowed me to meet new people with whom I still have ties. Before participating in the Erasmus+ project my English language skills were low. But from speaking in English during the preparation of the project or during my travel week, I felt that I had a better comprehension of English than before. The mobility allowed me to create a nice relationship with various students but also many other things that will be useful for me for the future! One of my best memories was the party that had been organized by the high school that had welcomed us. It was a very friendly moment with a very good atmosphere :)

I've been to Grece and Poland thanks to the project. Where I were able to learn about migration, culture. I had the opportunity to meet Syrian Iraqi, Pakistani and Kurdish teenagers and talk with them and learn about their situation. I also made friend beyond the borders. I think I improved my English skill a lot and it also brought me the confidence I needed to be able to communicate with foreign people. I'm more open minded about migration now. I can consider working abroad now. My best memories are with the polish student when we met in Greece and decided to go dance on a giant chess game.

Thanks to the Erasmus+ project I was able to go to Spain. I got to know a lot of things like the lifestyle of the people who live in this country, their culture and many other things.
This project allowed me to develop skills in terms of language, culture and adaptation.
Being part of the project helped me open up to others.
If I should describe my best memory, I would say it's all the times we spent together where we discovered the city, or we went out and had fun.
Now, as a result of this project, I see migration as a second chance, a new life for migrants who want to leave their country because of a problem, for whatever reason.

The Erasmus+ project has brought me a lot thanks to this project I discovered a new culture, new people and created links with them. I also had the chance to visit some magnificent monuments. Thanks to this project my vision of migrants is much more positive than before I have been touched by their needs and their precariousness and the Erasmus project has taught me to have more empathy for people and this quality will surely serve me for the future and I thank the Erasmus+ project for making me evolve. My best memory of this trip to Spain would be the last evening we all spent together despite our differences. We knew how to laugh and have a good time and this is one of my best memories.

Erasmsus + was a very unique experience. Thanks to this project I discovered new countries, many ways of life and cultures. It gave me the opportunity to make friends across the UE and to have very enriching conversations about our traditions and many others topics. It also made me want to go an adventure and meet new people across the world. Thanks to this mixing of culture and the activities, I became more open-minded as well as more comfortable in English. I also learned a lot ! I also found out all the work done by the associations to help the migrants. It’s a very difficult process and it is vital to give them the chance to integrate professionally and socially. I think one of my best memory of this project was the match of ice hockey. It was a very great moment and the stadium was on fire !

I discovered thanks to the project new cultures and another daily routine. I discovered too a different definition of the immigration and a school model that is not the same as mine. Thanks to this cooperation I developped my ability to speak in English on a daily basis and to be allowed to adapt myself in a different environment . My vision on immigration has not changed, but I know now that we all have a European identity within us, my best memory was the visit to the city of Sevilla because that was a really great day for me. Erasmus + was a very very good experience for me and very enriching, thanks to all the organisers of the project and to the teachers who accompanied us in this adventure !

    Lotta

Erasmus+ has been a unique experience, and I am so glad I got to take part in it. It was amazing to meet new people and visit a country I had never visited before. I learned a lot during the project.
One of the best memories I have from the project is the last night in Poland. It was definitely a fun night. Even though not the best another memory that I will carry far into the future is the trip between Finland and Poland, and how our flight got canceled, and in the end, it took us over 12 hours to get there, when it was supposed the be just a short flight.
I don't think I will ever get a similar chance to meet so many new people and have fun with them, so I am so happy I was able to take part.

    Hi!
It was the first time I had participated in international project and the first time I had oportunity to test myself in speaking English in long term with people not from Poland. It turns out that there is nothing to worry about - if you want you can easly communicate with each other. I spent one week in the Czech Republic. Only my host could speak English, his family could not or just a little. What surprised me a lot was the fact that they could understand me speaking Polish and I could understand them speaking Czech quite well. I felt like they were my cousins. In turn being a host for Spanish girl prompted me to consider about my culture in order to share it. It also reminded me that my culture and region also is wonderful, such as any other nation.

    Malwina B. Poland PART2

Both meetings taught me a lot about other cultures and now I am hungry for the world. My conclusions: a week is definitely not enough! I actually get more engaged in social projects and meetings with people from different countries.
So happy to be a part of IWE project. Thank you a lot and let's be open minded. We can learn so much from each other.

It was a real chance to experience this project, I was able to get out of my comfort zone and see another side of the world. I learned to adapt to a completely different culture and be more independent, I also improved my English. I see migration as a change of lifestyle and landscape, as a new beginning. Maybe one day I will decide to take this change and embark on a new adventure or maybe I won't have enough courage to do it. The best moment for me was when we landed in Finland, I was excited to finally arrive. Memories that I will share for a long time. Merci !

    Jessika Finland

Thanks to the project I have discovered new sides of myself and had an amazing experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life. During the cooperation I became more extroverted than prior and I really felt like I was important and valuable. I had to really step out of my comfort zone and talk to new people. I developed my English-and collaboration skills. I have so many great memories of this journey so I can't pick just one. One thing that I will always remember is the friends I got from the trip to Czech Republic. They were there for me when I needed them and we had so much fun together. We explored the city together and created memories that I will remember forever. For me, migration is a new beginning and a wonderful adventure. It might be a bit difficult but totally worth it.

Participation in the Erasmus+ project was an opportunity to meet new people and learn a lot about their culture. I was able to learn many new things about our guests and their countries. That realized me that we are not that different as I thought before. Because of it, this project was more than just a practice of the English language.
It was also a great chance to improve my communication skills. At the beginning of the project, I was worried that it would be difficult to talk and understand each other, but in the end, there were no serious obstacles.
I'm glad that I had a chance to take part in it.

Thanks to the Erasmus+ project I learned about new cultures and people, how their lifestyle is different from mine even though we have a lot in common. Also I could get a new look on migration, what are the reasons for it and how life looks for people affected by this. I'm very grateful that I could see Greece and I was amazed by its views and buildings. I think that anyone who has the opportunity, should participate in Erasmus project to learn new skills and meet new people

During this project I’ve been to Chech. I've seen new places. Erasmus+ allowed me to meet with so many new cultures and people. Due to this project I obtained new fantastic friends from abroad with whom I still keep in touch up to this day. I also broke the “language barrier” and experienced amazing events. This project made me realize that no matter what place you live in, what colour your skin is or even culture we all are the same people.

I see migration as an opportunity to help someone in the sense that he leaves his country for reasons of war etc ... to be able to discover other culture as well.

My experience with this program has been incredible. Thanks to him I have grown as a person and I have managed to learn many values from other cultures. My trip to Greece will always be in my memory, although I will never forget all the people I met there, I can't wait to see them again! I was also lucky enough to get in touch with Polish culture, and it is something that I really liked! Of course, this program has also improved my English and my shyness. I am sure that I will always carry it in my heart. It has been an unforgettable experience. THANK YOU!

I just can't choose one memory from Erasmus+, every moment was truly amazing; I've made friends who at first, they look like very different and distant people but, when you start to meet them, you realizes that they are just like you! You both have the same thoughts and worries instead of the differents cultures. This project have changed my mind because I have developed empathy, confidence in myself, conversations skills and specially I have learn about migration. There are a lot of migrants who need a hand and are helped by heroes who sacrifice time and effort for them. And you know what? We can be heroes too.

    Gloria Spain

This Erasmus project has been such an amazing experience. It has given me the opportunity to visit Greece and Poland and learn its culture and traditions.
During these visits I've had a lot of fun tasting new meals, as the pierogi from Poland, making photos with everyone and seeing how other teens live their current life. The practise of English has enabled me to talk way much fluently and keep in touch with others. If I had to choose one moment from the whole project, although it's pretty difficult, I'd say when we went to Nauplia, a Greek city, and dance all together in the middle of a square, the Macarena. There was a really friendly atmosphere, everyone was having fun.
Remembering all these moments I get to the conclusion that everyone should have this marvellous chance, I would totally recommend it to everyone and repeat it if I could!

    Maciej Poland

Thanks to the project I discovered that no matter the nationality all people are great. I've developped many communication skills. I think I'll see migration as a great opportunity to meet new people. It brought me a lot of cool expierences. My best memory is planting trees in Spain.

These Erasmus+ experiences will never be forgotten! This project and the experiences have absolutely been the best and the most memorable in the whole three years of high school! I am so grateful that I got to take part in this project! I learned a lot about a new culture, and I made many new friends! Moreover, I grew as a person and gained courage to speak English!

    Lilli, Finland

At least I gained a new friend from my host partner, got to see a lot of historical locations in Poland, learned a lot of new things about Poland and Polish culture as well as other cultures from the visitors we had in Finland. In general gained a better view of how to collaborate with people from many different countries.

    Adela (Greece)

This Erasmus+ project was my first Erasmus experience. I have to say that it was an unforgettable experience and undoubtedly if I was given the opportunity I would do it again. I was very lucky to spend a creative week with such privileged teachers, friendly students and of course to live with my host family which was so lovely. Being part of the project helped me develop my English skills and travel to an other country. Thanks to this project I realized that immigration isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it can be a second chance for a better life. I also understood that every country treats immigrants differently but, in the end, they learn to live together in harmony. I would say that my best memory it's when we went out to discover the city, we had so much fun. Briefly thanks to Erasmus+ I had a great experience!!

This trip abroad was something totally new! it was very special to learn and meet people from so many different cultures. Erasmus+ was a beautiful opportunity to broaden my horizons. Meeting young people from other countries helped me realize the differences and similarities between european adolescents. Thanks to the project, I was able to see Greece, a country that has been interesting to me for a long time. I got to know his culture and many wonderful people. I also developed my skills in dialogue in English and was able to learn something new in the field of music, which is my great passion. Regarding migration, I believe that everyone has a right to it. While leaving their country, they should maintain family traditions and pass them on to their offspring, but at the same time should adapt to the culture and rules of the country to which they emigrated.
The project increased my interest in traveling, visiting new places and learning about cultures.
however, what I liked the most was the time spent with our guests in Poland. at that time I met new friends from abroad, but also learned a lot about my colleagues from Poland.

    Julia Poland

Taking part in Erasmus was an amazing experience! It was a brilliant way to meet a lot of new people from different parts of Europe. Thanks to the project I have discovered that in spite of living in different countries, all teenagers are really similar with each other. I have also developed my English and Spanish speaking skills. Erasmus brought me a lot of happiness and it made my think about living somewhere abroad in the future. My best memory from whole project was a trip to Seville. It was amazing to see growing oranges in the winter! I do not regret anything connected with the project.

The Erasmus + project has been, in a few words, one of the best experiences of my life. It has given me the opportunity to travel to another country for the first time and meet a lot of people. Also, living with a foreign family for a few days opens your mind.
When it was our turn to be host, we did it with great enthusiasm. We spent days preparing the meeting and in the end it was a great experience for both them and us, since they got to know the most important aspects of Spain. I hope that over time many more people enjoy this experience as we did.

Thanks to the project, I have been able to meet new people who have given me values and customs that were very different from mine. I could not choose just one moment from this unforgettable experience including the great welcome of the family
On the other hand, talking about the main theme of the proyect, migration, this experience has allowed me to see the big problem that is migration and the little awareness that young people have about it.
All in all, I would always repeat this experience and I advise everyone to live something similar
