    A Greek pupil's daily routine

Everyone has a daily routine but  a pupil's routine in Greece is full of lessons and activities.

Firstly, you have to get up early in the morning to start your preparations for school. Moreover, attending a musical school demands studying general lessons and furthering your knowledge as far as the musical education is concerned. For instance, playing diverse musical instruments and taking part in events. During school life there are a lot of breaks so pupils can interact and relax with their classmates to boost their social- psychological level.

Furthermore, when a greek pupil returns home he/she should start studying immediately for the next day's homework. In addition most of the pupils are full of activities in the afternoon, such as foreign languages, maths, sports, e.t.c. according to each child's interests and preferences.

It's worth mentioning that at the end of the day thw only thing a greek pupil seeks for is a cosy home to relax, knowing that the following day a child will follow the same boring routine which will surely put him off.

To sum up, the only days teenagers have got free time are especially on weekends. It's a good chance for children to spend a creative time with their peers.

    Weather Conditions in Tripolis

How they influence our daily life

Weather tends to affectlifestyle and culture, human, animal and plant health, as well as the food supply and our psychology. Last but not least daily choices such as the way we dress  to stay warm or cool, whether we enjoy outside activities or stay inside.

During the summer, the wather in Tripolis is most frequently sunny, dry and hot with cool nights and any precipitation fallsin the form of showers or thunderstorms. Duting the day, people try to protect themselves from the hot airand avoid direct exposure to the hot sun. They use sunscreen and they drink a lot of water. When the sun sets, the streets and squares of Tripolis are crowded with people who stroll around enjoying the warm temperatures and the cool breeze. Everybody wears light clothes. Moreover, people consume fruits and vegetables that  are in season.

Winters are wet, relatively cold but any snow that falls does not last long. Rain in winter time is often persistent. In winter, everybody wears heavy clothes to protect themselves  from cold. During rainy weather people use their vehicles for their transportation and they avoid outdoor activities as they prefer not to go out unless it is necessary. When it snows,  schools are closed as the streets get slippery because of the low temperatures. Transportation becomes difficult. On sunny and slightly warmer days though, people grab the chance to go out for a walk. People cosume in season fruits and vegetables.

Weather determines to a great extent how we stay warm or cool enough to survive, how we stay comfortable, what modes of transportation we use, what type of clothing we wear, what foods we can grow and eat in our area. As far as the planting is concerned, the weather " imposes" what resources we have, such as water and which  trees are plentiful or rare.
