What is the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union?
The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (the Charter) brings together the fundamental rights of everyone living in the European Union (EU). It was introduced to bring consistency and clarity to the rights established at different times and in different ways in individual EU Member States.
In our IWE-project, we are interested in seeing to the rights of those who can't defend themselves: children, disabled, immigrants.
As a preparatory task for the Finnish visit, please familiarize yourselves with the basic vocabulary and contents of these rights.
Together in Finland, we will choose the most applicable ones and develop them further, to write our own "IWE Charter of Equal Rights"
