U nastavku radnog dana predstavljen mi je digitalni alat „The puzzle of the self“ pomoću kojega možemo kreirati sliku lica osobe u koju su ukomponirane izabrane slike tijekom terapije.
Zaželjela sam im puno uspjeha i podrške u razvoju njihovoga Centra!

10th day of course „Digital tools for students with special needs“
An uncommon couple visited today the Atlas Center - the engineer of agronomy and the musician who play a trombone.
Namely, the Center is interested in a cooperation with them, so they presented their new project „Different green“ developed for the students of the elementary schools as well as for the inclusion of the autistic persons in the society.
A leading idea of the project „Different green“ is to animate students to make the instruments from the fresh vegetable (carrots, gourds, peppers, eggplants,...) and to play on them as on musical instruments in order to express their creativity in entertaining and inspiring environment. The Center plans to combine the content of this project with a digital tool the „PaINTeraction“ for the work with the autistic children.
Also, the Center is interested in inclusion of the autistic persons. In that sense, a cooperation with the engineer of agronomy ensures the extension of their activities since the engineer implementing a project of growing the vegetables in the garden of a certain university at Rome, in which the autistic persons taking care of it. They plant vegetable, learn how to use various types of garden tools, produce the spices and use a self-service restaurant of the university with the students. Their everyday achievements as well as feedback for their parents are carefully monitored through the detailed and elaborate forms.
In the afternoon I met a student who came to therapy because he avoids communication and collaboration with the others. The therapist has applied
the method „Caviardage“, the aim of which is to motivate the student to express his own inner world.
Afterwards the leader of the Center presented a digital tool „The puzzle of the self“ able to create a „puzzle“ image of the patient's face in which the images from the sessions are incorporated. A 3D pen for making solid, stable structures and objects was also presented to me..
In the end of the day, actually the last day of the course, we made the evaluations of all the activities we have had performed during the course. It was my pleasure to praise and highly evaluate the work of the Center's team and, in particular, to express my sincere gratitude for their kind presentation of the potentials of a new technology, all these useful digital tools for students with special needs.
I wished them a lot of success and support in the further development of the Atlas Center.
