DAY8 - DAN 8

    8. dan tečaja „Digitalni alati za učenike s posebnim potrebama“

Danas sam upoznala 22-godišnju pacijenticu s dijagnozama tuberozne skleroze i autizma.

Korištene metode doprinose dobroj interakciji s terapeutom.

8th day of course „Digital Tools for Students with Special Needs“

Today I have met  22 years old patient with diagnosis of autism and tuberous sclerosis.

In the beginning of the session the patient was talking about events of the last week and her relationship with the parents. The aim was to reach her innermost feelings and to let her to express her emotions, because she has a poor communication with her parents.

During the session she was in the good mood and very talkative oftenly repeating the stereotype movements (loudly clapping with her hands).

The therapist used the digital tool „PaINTeraction“. Watching her own movements on the screen, during the drawings of different shapes, pronunciation of letters and the practice of motor movements with the ball on the screen, she animated the therapists around her too. She, also, required the additional sound sensations; she was "playing" on the vibrational table.

Watching an animated character of Pocahontas on the screen, she was answering to the therapist's questions about her emotional state.

The used methods contribute to the positive interaction between the patient and the therapist.
