Lousã Team visits the Town Library
In March during the Book and Reading week, Lousã team visited the town Library where they saw very ancient historical documents. The local library is called Biblioteca Municipal Comendador Montenegro. It is situated in the centre of the town and there are 2 rooms and an auditorium on the ground floor and a bigger room and the archives are on the 1st floor. For a few of us this was our first visit to our town library, most of us had already been there, but the most amazing fact about this visit was the opportunity to visit the archives and see the 2 charters assigned by king D. Manuel I to Serpins and Lousã in 1513.
