“FAIRYTALE TRIP TO CHINA” - SP 23, Gdynia, Poland
Our library took preschoolers on a "fairytale trip to China". Our youngest guests could explore the world of Chinese fairy tales. They learn to eat chopsticks, wrote Chinese words, learned to speak a few Chinese words and they made their own paper dragon.

"LIBRARY HEART ATTACK" :) SP23, Gdynia, Poland
Our students came up with the project "Library heart attack." The project promoted City Library in our neighborhood. February 14th, students organized a library Valentine's Day. They prepared: Valentine's wishes, painting competition "Book heroes in love", a competition to complete citations. Guests can play "Valentine's bingo" and "Healthy Heart". All guests together wrote a "Valentine's story".

"Reading Picnic"
It was a great event for the whole school and the local community.
We have prepared sports competitions with books.
Students made posters promoting reading.
The students solved the tasks related to the books. They got a stamp for every right answer.
For all the solutions they got a prize.
We played BINGO about books and reading! :)

We solved the puzzles of Lasse and Maya, the heroes of M. Widmark's books.
We read fairy tales from the "Tales tree".

In Poland we celebrate Saint Nicholas Day. This is Nicholas' name day.
The children came to school in Santa's hats and red costumes.

Literary workshops in SP 23 in Gdynia
"The Whodunit Detective Agency" - is a Swedish series of children's books written by Martin Widmark, illustrated by Helena Willis. The series tells the adventures of two children - Lasse and Maya, who live in the small town of Valleby and run their detective office. This popular series of books is published by the Zakamarki Publishing House.
This week, the representatives of the Zakamarki Publishing House run literary workshops with the students of our school (with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 class).
