The project partners were received at school by 9 am with a warm representation made by students where they danced a music related with the rainbow.

Then they were accompanied to the school auditorium, where the Headmaster and the Host Coordinator of the project have welcomed in a formally way. They observed a dance piece related to the formation of the solar system. However, as this reception was framed in the World Day of Libraries, poems of Fernando Pessoa were ridden being translated into English by students. The project partners also participated in this activity, reading Fernando Pessoa's poems in their own language. At the end of this reception they were presented with an original painting artist (painter), Francisco Machado, visual educational teacher of the school.

After this reception, all partners had a coffee break and started their work.

First, they introduce themselves formally and each country presented their Educational System.

After lunch, tasks, associated to the project, were analysed, discussed, distributed and scheduled.

Short term training activities dates were establish for the next two meetings, Greece and Italy.

Second meeting will be in Greece in 19^th to 24^th of March 2016 and third meeting, in Italy, will be in 15^th to 21^st of May 2016 

During the distribution of tasks partners analysed different internet tools to develop better the work between teachers and students, but most of all to facilitate the work evaluation of activities and students.

At 17h00 all partners, the school headmaster and the host team had a meeting, at the City Council, with Mayor. They were kindly received and talked about the project with the Mayor and he could found the importance of this project because he said that Braga city is a place where science is everywhere, like Orion Association, Minho University and INL (International Nanotechnology Institute).

 

After this meeting, partners went back to the hotel.

The day before, 27^th October, all partners worked together to find the best way how to manage the activities, how to select students for short term meetings and training eTwinning Live.

There was an interview to all partner in the school radio station

In the afternoon, all partners have participated in an Astronomy Lecture at Minho University, visited the facilities of the physics department of this University by PhD. Nuno Peres.

 

In the evening there were a welcome dinner to all partners in the school were all kind of Portuguese culture was presented, such as, folk dances, paintings and embroidered scarves.

 

On 28^th October, the day was guided to cultural activities, including the observation of the night sky in Oporto City at Clerigos Tower.
