Fruit salad
Goal of the experiment:Skills training to describe transformations experienced by the fruit when cooked.
Materials needed: Fruits (apple, banana, pineapple, orange, kiwi), cream, milk, knives, spoons, bowls, apron, caps.
Steps of the experiment:- The fruit is washed under running water.
- Prepare working tools
-It warns children about safety rules regarding the use of knives.
- Each child cut in small pieces of fruit slices received.
- All the pieces of fruit in the bowl mix individually.
- The teacher prepares cream and help children by using whisk.
- Children mix the ingredients and taste the fruit salad ready.
Children learn the steps underway in preparation of fruit salads. They acquire skills to use kitchen tools. Children actively participate in the transformations experienced by the fruit to obtain a fruit salad.
