Egg’s floating in salted water
Goal of the experiment:Observating the salted water’s feature of making an egg to float.
Materials needed: Two transparent bowls, water, salt, two raw eggs.
Steps of the experiment:
- Pour water in each bowl.
- Add the egg in each bowl. The both eggs will sink.
- Add salt in one of the bowls and slowly stir until the egg will rise and sink in salted water bowl.
The egg from the normal water will stay sinked, while the one in the bowl that contains salted water will start to float.
