December and the time around Christmas is considered to be the biggest feast in Slovakia and there are many diverse traditions connected with it differ from region to region. At our school we continued the tradition of visiting families with little children disguised as Saint Nicolaus, Angel and Devil to reward the good kids and punish the bad ones.

We also had the opprotunity to connect the young generation with the older one while baking and cooking typical Slovak Christmas dish called "opekance".
