In March and April 2021 we tried to deal with several topics such as the World Water Day or the issue of sustainability in gastronomy among others.
Earth Day 2021- Srednja škola Bol, Croatia
Aprill 22 (for the 51st time) marks Earth Day around the world as last year, the posters will remain largely virtual. This year’s, the official theme of Earth Day is “Let’s Rebuild Our Earth!” And it is based on a concept that rejects the idea that our only optionsfor saving the Earth are mitigating or adapting to the effects of climate change that cause damage to nature. It focuses on natural processes, new green technologies and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems. On that occasion, the students of the3rd grade made digital posters, which you can see below.

WorldSkills Croatia, under the auspices of ASOO, is strongly committed to strong cooperation between the education system and employers. Student competitions in this context raise awareness of the attractiveness of vocational occupations and create interest in them.
WorldSkills competitions have been held in our country and beyond for several years, with the exception of 2020 and the start of the Covid pandemic. So this year we applied for the competition in the discipline of Cooking, although it was not known whether the competition would take place at all. Uncertainty was ended at the last minute by the decision to hold the elimination competitions online.
