3.2. Finland (Students)

  • During the mobility, students met their peers from partner countries: Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Finland, Czech Republic and Slovakia, exchanged knowledge and experience with them, spoke in English, collaborated in activities, got to know the Finnish education system and host school more closely, Gesterbyn koulu.

     

    Also, students participated in the Lego Robotics, Virtual and Augmented Reality and Finishing Zither Cantilever workshops, and during the tour of the school they saw how the classrooms were equipped, the classes being taught, they attended English language and Religious Studies classes.

     

    Various outdoor activities were organized during the visit to Finland for students and teachers. We visited Haltia Nature Park where we visited the museum and got acquainted with Finland's natural sights, strolled through the forest, observed and explored wildlife, at Linlo Nature Park, students searched for treasures in groups, solved tasks, assisted teachers to light a campfire and participated in other activities, and in the reindeer farm Nuuksio fed the reindeer with moss.

    They were also impressed by the visit to the Finnish capital Helsinki, where they visited the monument to Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, the Oodi City Library, the Ateneum Gallery of Modern Art, and walked through the city streets.

    During their stay in Finland, project coordinators from partner countries agreed on the following project activities and mobility activities in accordance with the project program.
