    Evaluation for teachers 1st year
    Finland evaluation summary

Finland attended to 1st year teacher mobilities to Spain (11/19) and Croatia (3/20) as planned. By decision made by school principal, Finland attended virtually on mobilities to Slovakia (11/21), Portugal (3/22), Czech Republic (4/22) and Spain (5/22). Virtual mobilities were organized by partner countries. Finland attended online on all project activities during the virtual mobilitities. The virtual mobility was very successful: we managed to carry out all the activities according to the plan of the partner country. During the mobility, we used technology in many ways to create as real virtual experience of culture, language and environment as possible. For example, we used AR/VR technology and different kinds of apps for implementation of activities.

Finland evaluation summary - part 2

On our opinion, the project succeeded the most on flexibility of partners in changing circumstances (Covid19), active involvement of students and implementation of main objectives of the project: making learning outdoors an integral part of daily learning activities, sharing experiences with other countries in order to build international connections, teaching the students how to use technologies wisely and training teachers in innovative methodologies.

    Czech evaluation of the project
    Snježana Kovačević, OŠ Zlatar Bistrica

I was coordinator in Croatian school for this project. I think that project was very valuable for Primatry school Zlatar Bistrica because our school participated in Erasmus+ project for the first time. It gave us the opportunity to learn, to develop ourselves and our school and to improve the teaching in the school. We spent more time teaching outside, plan the lessons that can be carried out outdoors, me personally and teachers improved our skills and pupils gained more skills for lifelong learning. We can see the difference and go out to the school yard or school garden to teach, to explore, use different tools, sources and approaches. I would like to thank project partners for giving us the opportunity to work with them and to learn from them.

I can only assess this project in a positive way, since it has changed the way of teaching in our school. We have moved our classes outdoor and acquired computer equipment for its use with students. Considering Covid times it was a blessing to have the equipment and the activities to do outdoors, students loved to be outside, specially after the strong lockdown. We learnt from our partners that offered so many ways to work in an interactive way. Students and teachers learnt from each other and enriched the experience with the sharing of culture, ways of working, etc. Thank to all members of this fantastic group.

Maria Amaral Agrupamento de Escolas Elias Garcia Portugal-Part 1

As a member of Erasmus Team of my school I have participated, since the beginning of this project, in several activities. Some of them were developed with students from my classes, like the e-dictionaries, others included the planning of activities that should be implemented by teachers from the other participating countries. With students we have also implemented some of the activities created by other partners. I consider this exchange very valuable because it enabled learning opportunities for both students and teachers enhancing the possibilities and value of teaching and learning outdoors.
During lockdown caused by Covid-19 pandemic the work did not stop and i participated in an online meeting for teachers and managed to motivate students to participate in pupil’s videoconferences that allowed us to keep the project active.

Finally, also as a member of Erasmus + Team at my school, I helped to organize some activities developed during the mobility to Portugal. It was a very rewarding experience.
In the mobility context I've also participated in the mobility to Spain, the final one, with some of our students. It was an incredible experience from the pedagogic and cultural point of view. At this meeting we had a first glance of the compilation in a digital book of activities created during this project. I consider it a very valuable work that will be useful from now on once it allows the dissemination of the work developed. It was a very rewarding experience to participate in LO_VE Project!

For me personalny this project oftered me an oportunity to develop myself, to learn a lot, to collaborate and comunicated and to met a wonderful teachers. Thru activities we done I change my way of teaching on beter way. My main teaching space become outdoor. Students are more motivated for learning. They gaind more skills for lifelong learning. Also students had an opportunity to met face to face on mobilities, practise their english and make friends. Even during a demanding Covid period project lasted and collaboration continued.
It was wrealy a greate project for me. Thank you my LO-VE partners.

    SLOVAKIA

I think the project was of a big value for our school. It inspired our principal to change some school spaces. It inspired some of our teachers to go out with pupils more often, we discovered some new ICT tools that we continue using during our classes because we want our children to use the technologies wisely. Each stay is a benefit for both - the teacher as well as the student. It is a possibility of comparison, inspiration and self-reflection, and it moves everyone a bit forward. Each project participant develops practical skills related to a his/her personal growth (planning, group work, organizational skills, emotional skills, self-confidence, motivation for further work etc.). It was easy to motivate the pupils, even parents were open to new ways of teaching and finally in the evaluation we can see that both parents and pupils are supporters of Erasmus+ project.

    Francisca Soares, Portugal (part1)

The LO-VE (Learning Outdoors – Vivid Exploration) project was born from a wish, to embody a dream: to teach and to learn outdoors, in a meaningful and hands-on perspective.
As the coordinator of the Portuguese partner school, I was there from the beginning, involved, from scratch, in the writing of the application.
The LO-VE project started as a 2 year long project and ended up to last for 3 school years.
During these 3 years many things happened:
…we went through very tough moments at local and global scale
…we went through a pandemic that still strikes the world at the present time
    …a war started in Europe
…students involved in the project left the school and we had to find new students
…teachers withdrew from the project and new teachers were involved.

    Francisca Soares, Portugal (part2)

But, we didn’t give up and at the end we managed to…
…build a real community of teachers and students
…create bridges of understanding among us
    …build friendships
…do all the planned activities in the application
…do many more activities than the ones planned in the application
…meet (even though) virtually during the pandemic
…organise all the planned mobilities for teachers and for students
...organise virtual meetings for our students
    …test outdoor activities
    …plan outdoor activities
…make a book full of interesting and excellent outdoor activities
    …learn from each other
… involve our students in discussions
…make an e-book with traditional games from each country
    …and… and… and…
    …so many other things.
We did a lot!!!! We learned a lot!!!! We laughed a lot!!!! We had great moments together!!!
We have to be happy and to feel grateful for these three years of enriching experiences full of LO-VE!!!

Although I have joined the project, as a part of our school team, this school year, I have experienced a lot. I have met new interesting people from our partner countries, learnt to work in TwinSpace, improved my digital skills, learnt to use various interactive applications, deepen relationships with my colleagues, learnt about our pupils interests, learnt about partner countries educational system and lot of more. As an English teacher I am very happy that me and our pupils have had a chance to use English in real-life situations.

And from a perspective of a Geography teacher I highly appreciate the opportunity to visit our partner countries, to admire their cultural heritage, countryside, cuisine, language and people. It is very fulfilling to be a pupils' guide, to show them a new country, to see their enthusiasm about their first flight, about swimming in the sea for the first time in their life or seeing dolphins during the cruise. As a village school near the Beskydy mountains we are lucky that we can teach and learn outside in very nice surroundings. I believe that thanks to this project we can move the educational process outside more frequently and do the outdoor leaning more effective. I hope that I can take part in another project that would be as beneficial and enriching as LO-VE project.
