Erasmus picnic - SVK

  • The evaluation picnic was held on the 17th of June outside the school - in a garden of a local Club 75 which offered us to fulfill the main idea of our Erasmus project which is the outdoor learning.

As Czech partner school is only 30min. by train far away, we invited them to take part in our Erasmus picnic and to run some activities for children. Pupils could train Czech and Slovak language at the same time! Pupils who took part in mobilies brought some cakes, sweets, "tapas" and sandwiches and they helped to do some activities with younger mates - quizzes, crosswords, languages matches etc.

Our Principal came to talk to pupils about his own experience with Erasmus stays and he linked them with music of these countries because he is a big fan of music.

The implementation of Spanish activities included one dance which was implemented by School afternoon club, so pupils came to dance it in the garden and they taught the older ones to dance it too. It was really pleasant to watch them together!

We also evaluated the questionnaires of pupils and parents and we discovered that all the participants enjoyed our Erasmus, they want the school to continue it and they wish more teachers to take part in the activities. Children and parents appreciated new skills they learnt during mobilities as well as during activities at home or online. Children are passionate about Erasmus activities and they told us they would accept to do them even at home as HW.

At the end, all the kids taking part in Erasmus were given small gifts to remember their hard work.

ZŠ Písek - The Czech Republic

We are very grateful for invitation to Kysucké Nové Mesto for Erasmus picnic. We had wonderfut time with our Slovak friends there. 11 Czech pupils and 2 teachers went to Slovakia by train. The pupils presented their experience from mobilities in Portugal and Spain. We prepared some linguistic games such as matching Czech and Slovak words, some Czech tonguetwisters and also Czech-Slovak proverbs hidden in pictograms. Pupils were working in mixed teams of both nationalities and various age. Thanks to wonderful weather and delicious refreshment, prepared by Slovak pupils, it was real picnic. Thank you for such a nice experience.
