Do you... (never, occasionally, regularly)
1. DISPOSE WITH DISPOSABLES. When you make a purchase, consider the item’s life expectancy.
2. RECYCLE. Recycle as much as possible!
3. RESELL AND DONATE ITEMS. Items that you no longer need can get an extended life through resale and donation.
4. DRINK FROM THE TAP.
5. SAVE WATER. Conserve household water use.
6. RELY LESS ON CARS.
7. PURCHASE FAIR-TRADE PRODUCTS. When you purchase items that are imported from all over the world — particularly coffee, cocoa, sugar, tea, chocolate, and fruit — look for the fair-trade certification.
10. SPEAK UP. If you think a politician or a company is failing to take the issue of global warming seriously, then voice your concerns. Let them know what you think!
