In November 2020 Miss Thomas asked the Erasmus students to raise awareness of SDG1 Poverty with a virtual assembly. The RE Department organised a collection of items for our local Food Bank. Coronavirus has seen the number of people in poverty in the UK rise due to an increase in unemployment and so many being placed on furlough pay. Some self employed people haven't been able to earn money when asked to self isolate. many have suffered.
