Bifrost förskola February

  •  Follow-up of January.
During February we continued with our hall maps and seasonal trees. The children have become more aware of what to wear depending on the weather and are more active when discussing clothing choices for outdoor play. Our tree has not changed much. The children thought the tree would start to grow and the leaves break out when spring came first March but that theory was disproved. Weather is not affected by seasons in the way the children thought.
    Music, rhymes and rams.
All groups have danced and sung about the weather and nature. Some groups have made music videos. Because we have strict rules and laws regarding children's participation in pictures for publication, we have had to be creative with the films as we filmed children's participation without their faces or recognition factors.
One group used shadows and sunlight to film the children's movements. The children together with a preschool teacher show how to shape the different types of weather with their bodies.
Some groups have let the children sing a song and then made a video with adults actors or pictures taken by the children.
A group created props and let the kids make an animated movie using their own creations.
We connect this month's theme with our school administration network in the city. The theme of the networks is digitalisation and movement. In the preschool curriculum Lpfö18 we have followed the objectives:
    • "ability to discover and explore technology in everyday life, and
    • ability to build, create and construct using various techniques, materials
and gear ”. (Lpfö18, s;14) and • “create the conditions for the children to develop their ability to communicate, document and convey experiences, experiences, ideas and thoughts using different forms of expressions, both with and without digital tools”. (Lpfö18, s;15). The kids have had to use different apps to create their music videos. Each video represents movement in different ways.
