The children took freshwater and mixed it together with different flavors. The idea of mixing different flavors in the water came from the children who sat and discussed what they like to drink. The teacher took the opportunity and began a taste experiment. The children were allowed to mix salt and honey in water and stir. They saw and felt that the honey was a lot more difficult to dissolve in water than the salt was. They also found out that the water mixed with honey was harder to stir than the water mixed with salt. Later, when they tasted it, the children thought that honey blended water was better than salt water. While the children drank their honey water, the teacher explained the negative effect salt water has on the body and how the body can be dried out by a large amount of salt water.
