The German team opened this workshop with a field trip carried out in real time by the Science teachers and the German project students aiming at assessing the quality of the water in a nearby river. The participants from the partner schools followed the activity online and got actively involved in the observations of the ecosystem and the measurements with their interpretations, of course
Then, each school made their presentations of Environmental problems and hazards in their regions. The Turkish team were concerned about the air and water pollution in and around the region of Izmir.
