This was our last mobility; also virtual. It focused on Architecture, Environmental Issues and Life after Coronavirus.

The host school welcomed us with presentations of their school and town, Karben, as well as the city of Frankfurt am Main. Then we were introduced to the idea of working on three parallel workshops which were led by teachers at the German school and attended by both students and teachers from the partners schools in three breakout sessions. For the first three days we had all been cooperating in groups on our chosen aspect of the meeting at the three workshops.

At the workshop on Architecture the students presented the Architectural Styles in their countries and discussed similarities and peculiarities. They jointly produced a video about the common features in architectural styles among us. They also identified the types of Architecture (polite, traditional and vernacular) as well as the principles of Sustainable Architecture in all the tokens presented by all schools. Another common product was a Quiz on Architecture with questions about the styles, the types and the sustainability features of the buildings included.

The workshop on the Environment started with an actual fieldtrip carried out in real time by the German team aiming at assessing the quality of the water in a nearby river. The participants from the partner schools were observing and participating in this activity. Then, the results were displayed and explained. On the second day, the other schools presented their local and regional environmental problems on slides and compared the issues threatening ecosystems across our countries. Then, the students cooperated on creating a Survey on our common Environmental problems and a Padlet to elicit ideas of how to combat them. They also presented the ancient Greek myth of the Earth tearer which is a cry for sustainability.     

The students cooperating on the theme of LIFE after CoVid19 were even more creative; they jointly produced videos displaying environmental dystopias or satiric sketches aiming at raising awareness of environmental hazards. The German and Greek teams presented Sustainable Tourism as the only alternative for the future.

On the last two days, all students worked in plenum sharing the common products of the workshops (quiz, survey, videos) and evaluating the meeting. Among the participants were a few who had joined our project from the first year and a lot more new ones. All schools prepared their presentations during normal school classes and intend to use the products of this activity in future projects and classes.
