The Acropolis Museum (Greek: Μουσείο Ακρόπολης, Mouseio Akropolis) is an archaeological museum focused on the findings of the archaeological site of the Acropolis of Athens. The museum was built to house every artifact found on the rock and on the surrounding slopes, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. It also lies over the ruins of a part of Roman and early Byzantine Athens.

The museum was founded in 2003, while the Organization of the Museum was established in 2008. It opened to the public on 20 June 2009.[1] More than 4,250 objects are exhibited over an area of 14,000 square metres. The Organization for the Construction of the new museum is chaired by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Professor Emeritus of Archaeology, Dimitrios Pandermalis.

TPM Project Meeting & Evaluation of the Project Activities

In this project TPM meeting, a collaborative environment was created among the coordinator and the partners. A common purpose and goal have been set right from the beginning which was based on the project’s requirements. Various discussions have taken places to clarify the common goals. The project coordinator allowed each partner to express commitment.

With the help of the project coordinator, the common purpose has been used to help us prioritize the team actions.

A culture of peace and trust has been promoted right from the beginning of this project meeting to help the team members to work together effectively and be more successful. The role of each partner was clarified and a list of activities describing the work needed to be done until the next project meeting was published.

During the meeting, the roles of each partner and the outcomes were reviewed and evaluated by the coordinator. Also, all the outcomes were shared so all partners knew what others were doing, allowing the sharing of experiences and good practices, allowing ways to help each other to be shared.

Open and effective communication has been promoted and partners tried to understand each other by seeking to understand each other’s perspectives. Each partner took the responsibility to be heard and understood and any misunderstandings were cleared up quickly and accurately.

Team members’ efforts were reinforced and recognized and any diversities i.e. different backgrounds and perspectives that team members had have been appreciated.

Finally, team members recognized that they had to measure and monitor the outcomes created in this project to meet the requirements of the project.

The effectiveness of the TPM meeting was reviewed and evaluated.

The achieving results were published and shared.

    The individual effort was praised.
