    FRIDAY IN CHANIA

On Friday, we woke up, we ate breakfast and after that, we went to the 5th gymnasium of Chania, which we were cooperating with the whole week we were there. We arrived at school in the process of the pray. When the pray finished, we went inside to the assembly hall and at each desk they were siting two teams, which were split on the first day for the treasure hunt. They told us to pretend that we have our own winery. So, we had to find the winery’s name, we had to assert roles, for example, who will be the finance manager, the staff manager etc, we had to find what kind of wines we will produce, where our winery will be, what is the name of the brand, what will be written behind the wine and the logo of the winery. Then, when all the teams finished, one kid represented the whole team and had to say all of the above. After that, they gave us some questions that we had to evaluate the trip. In the end, we watched a video that was made by a Cyprian girl which was showing her parents who are working with grapes and wines. After that, we had a mini break and then we went to the buses to go to the College of Engineering (Polutexneio). Continuing, we went inside the building and we went into a classroom. There were three professors which each of them talked about something different. The first one talked about innovation, the second one talked about particles and the third one talked about artificial intelligence. After the lecture, we went outside and met two men that showed us two machines. The first machine showed us a painting, which showed us what is behind the painting, it had a different design behind the paint. The second machine was a microscope that showed many little details. In the afternoon we went to eat with the Spaniards at a tavern. We ate coocked food, for example gemista or mousaka. Later, we went to our hotels and took a rest. In the evening, we went to a tavern to eat with all the kids from Chania, Cyprus and Spain and we ate, we danced, we sang and we had much fun until we had to leave. After the party ended we said goodbye to each other and left to our hotels.
