Activity: DIGITAL SECURITY FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

Within the framework of the Erasmus program, 25 students from the Erasmus team of our School participated in the all-day DIGITAL SECURITY FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS day which was organized at the University of Cyprus on 15/2/2019.

The purpose of the workshop was to inform young people about the results of the Erasmus + program on DIGITAL SECURITY FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS. Specifically, students were informed about the opportunities offered by the Internet and digital technology in general for entrepreneurship and business opportunities internationally.

The students had the opportunity to attend lectures by experts in the field of start-up and development of start-ups. They also had the opportunity to meet with young entrepreneurs who managed to set up a successful startup. Students took part in experiential workshops where they had the opportunity to work in groups and learn about all the steps needed to create a startup business.

Following this workshop, we invited representatives of the EU Project Officer GrantXpert Consulting Ltd to our School to talk to our students about entrepreneurship opportunities in the new market environment. Representatives of GrantXpert Consulting Ltd encouraged our students to participate in the Digital Innovation Competition: Digital Championship 2018/19.
