    Objectives:

    to learn some iconic and cultural facts about Poland;  

    to learn about Inowrocław and school;

    Success Criteria:

    By the end of the activities Students will get to know:

    -the location of Poland in the European map;

    -the Polish flag;

    -the capital city;

    -the Polish borders and surrounded countries;

    -the traditional Polish food;

    -the Polish dance ‘Polonez’

    -the location of the partner guest school -Inowrocław.

    Introduction:

    The teachers introduce themselves briefly and present the students the map of Poland.

    Activities/ Methods:

    -The teachers show the presentation in PowerPoint about Poland and culture.

    -The teachers display the film about Poland.

    -The teachers teach simple Polish words.

    -The teacher presents the game battleship. She divides students into groups and asks them to sit together. She explains the rules of the game.

    Evaluation:

    -The teacher uses a game Battleship to check if students understand the lesson about Poland. She displays the questions about Poland on a whiteboard. She reads the questions and students in groups discuss the answers. Then she gives points to the group that answers the question correctly.
