Teachers from all  partner schools were warmly welcomed by Lithuanian team, who are the coordinators of the project. The head teacher of Pavasario pagrindine mokykla did his best to make our stay enjoyable. The pupils sang traditional songs, we were given some traditional handmade presents. We had the tour of the school, we took part in some of the lessons and could see some classrooms. Finally, we all met in the lecture hall, where we discussed the project calendar with the events, meetings and project activities. We agreed that each school coordinator will inform the project coordinator and partners of any divergences from the established timetable.

Workshop

We were all invited to take part in a workshop titled „Lithuanian dances and games together with adult folk group Urvikiu kulturos centras”. We learnt some traditional folk dances and games which were supported by “Urvikių kultūros namų kapela”. We were acquainted with traditional food heritage and bread baking ceremony.
