5 COUNTRIES, 5 MONUMENTS

  •

Time to discover our monuments is here!

Time to work together is here too.

We want to know what the main features of each of our countries and monuments are.

Here are the activities we will do all together sharing our team work:

    Some tips:

    - Each country makes 5 groups in the class ( each group will do different tasks)

    1.  Team 1 of each country fills in the chart of its relevant monument in English and its own language.  First, they will be uploaded on a padlet for each country, then we will translate the charts into our languages. Then will create some leaflets for our monuments. Each leaflet will have the information in 6 different languages as we want to let tourists from around Europe to  read about the monument. Finally, we will make the leaflet using "Lucidpress" 2.0 webtool )  ( Find chart of the monument on "materials- files")

    2. Team 2 will fill in the chart with the main features of the country . Then, make a model for the country with images, information , main rivers and mountains , inhabitants, language etc. Upload images of the final work on " Materials" we will create an ebook using " Cálameo" 2.0 webtool ( find the chart of the country on "Materials-files" ) In the Padlets ( subpage called " Our 5 countries) , we can upload the "country charts" , photos while pupils working and images of models.

    3.  Team 3 will design a small souvenir about a partner  country ( see the chart below). Upload the material and instructions on a padlet. We will join all the souvenirs in a "Smilebox" presentation.

4.Team 4 will design the logo of our project " Monumental Europe" ( 1/4 A4 paper in colour ) uploaded on a padlet. Then, all together will vote the logo designs on a Google doc .

    5. Team 5 will prepare a "Multilingual dictionary"  with the most common language structures we can use travelling on holiday and visiting a country and its monuments. Recordings of the kids pronouncing the structure on their language. Ex: Excuse me, how can i get to the " Eiffel Tower "please?, How much is it? , ...
