German proposal no 2

  • Dear eTwinners,

on 19 October we visited the Westphalian State Museum for Rural History and Culture. It is Germany's largest open-air museum! The museum wants to preserve evidence of historical culture in our countryside and to present it to the public. So we and future generations will see how life in earlier centureies used to be. We think this "museum" should be a UNESCO Word Heritage Site. After getting to know our own culture we will suggest two further local buildings in Minden to the UNESCO!

In the picture you can see various animals belonging to the museum. The windmill is one of the biggest landmarks there. It is verry important that the all species of animals, the different old trees, flowers and the old houses are preserved.
