Estamos tan habituados a tener todas las comodidades actuales, que seguro que se te haría muy cuesta arriba tener que prescindir de cualquiera de ellas. Pocos recuerdan los tiempos en los que en las casas se cocinaba con materiales combustibles. Y sin embargo no hace tanto que llegaron el gas o la electricidad a los fogones de los restaurantes y a las viviendas. Hasta el mejor cocinero del mundo, Ferrán Adriá, que sobrepasa un poquito los cuarenta, cocinó con materiales combustibles antes de entrar en «El Bulli», ¿Sabes qué y cómo cocinaban tus antepasados antes de que apareciese, o se utilizase, la energía eléctrica o el gas?

We are so used to having all the current comforts, that surely, it would be very difficult for you to have to do without any of them. Few remember the days when people at home cooked with combustible materials. And yet, it is not so long ago that gas or electricity came to the stoves of restaurants and homes.
