Числото ,,Пи,,
Числото ,,Пи,, - какво ли ще рече това?
Подсказва ми, че математиката пак е замесена сега!
Хайде, нека да помислим! - каза госпожата в час, като извика силно с мощния си глас!
Цялата се изчервих, когато чух: На дъската бързо Николета да се появи! Край - прошепнах си на глас и за в час излязох пред съучениците си аз!
На дъската пишеше числото ,,Пи,,
- бе написано дори с главни букви - без черти, а отдолу както обикновено с надпис одебелено прочетох аз: Стойноста му с точност намери или за повтаряне на годината се приготви!
Леле казах си сега - това трябва да е някаква шега! Започнах всичко да забравям и леко даже да се притеснявам!
Изведнъж алармата ми зъзваня, и събудих се с мисълта:
Ох било е само сън това!, но когато часовникът видях, втори път за седмицата аз пропях: Ехх, пак за математиката закъснях!

Number “PI”
Number “PI” – I don't get a thing.
Am I facing mathematics again?
“Come on, let us think!” my maths teacher raised her voice one day during a lesson.
“Nikoleta, please, come quickly to the board!” made me blushed and I froze.
I whispered to myself “This is not good!” and rushed forward like a bullet.
“PI” was looking directly at me, neatly written on the board. It was showing off in capital letters and below it stood a sentence, saying: “Find its precise value otherwise you won’t pass this class.”
“Oh my,” I exclaimed…” Is it some kind of a joke?” My mind got stuck and couldn’t remember anything. I stood dumbfounded in front of my classmates.
Suddenly, I heard the alarm of my phone and I sighed with relief: “Oh, it was just a dream!” But when I looked at the time…yet another wave of stress! This was my second delay for the mathematics lesson this week!

Числото Пи представлява отношението на обиколката на окръжност и нейния диаметър. Специалното обаче е, че то е ирационално число, което е символ на безкрайността. Прието е, че то е равно на 3,14.
Въпреки, че не всички си даваме сметка за това колко е важно това число, факт е, че без него животът ни би бил различен и много по-непонятен отколкото е всъщност.
Доказателство за това е,че то присъства почти навсякъде в бита ни. Намираме го и в природата, където има окръжност. Примери са: слънчевия диск, двойната спирала на ДНК, зеницата на окото. Виждаме го във вълните, в движението на светлината и на звука. То присъства дори в уравнението за това колко точно можем да научим за Вселената. Има още много примери и всички те ни показват значението на Пи за нашето съществуване. Без него ние хората бихме били слепи за много важни и главни закономерности, на които се гради целия живот. Не само нашия, но и този на всичко, което ни заобикаля.
То ни дава отговор на екзистенциални въпроси и дава началото на нови знания и способности.
От всичко това можем да заключим, че безкрайността на това число не се ограничава само до цифрите след запетаята. Напротив Пи е безкрайно, заради своето значение за нас, за заобикалящото ни и за всичко, което някога ще съществува.

The Number “Pi”
The number PI is defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. The special thing about this number is that it is irrational and it symbolizes eternity. It is approximately equal to 3,14.
Few people realize the importance of this number. But it is a fact that our life without it would be different and much more inexplicable.
As evidence, I would say that it exists almost everywhere around us. We can find it in nature, in all the things and creatures which have the shape of a circumference. For example the solar disk, the DNA double helix, the pupil of the eye. It could be found in the waves, in the movement of the light and sound. It is even in the equation, showing how much we are able to learn about the Universe. There are numerous examples and they show us the enormous importance of the number Pi for our existence. Without this number, people would be incapable to understand and explain lots of essential and major regularities which are the foundations of our life. It concerns not only our human life but also everything surrounding us.
This number gives the answers to existential questions and initiates new knowledge and skills.
From the above mentioned, we might conclude that the eternity of this number does not end to the decimal point. On the contrary, Pi is eternal because of the importance it has for us and for everything surrounding us. It is important for everyone and everything that will appear in the future.
