MATHS IN ARTS
MATHS with a difference – Maths in Arts – organised on 25th February 2020 – with the students of 12 F grade, presenting golden number, ratios, geometry and symmetry in Arts. Drawing human faces using ratios and symmetry. A very talented pupil, Ionut Iacob tought his colleagues how to draw a human face using mathematical rules.
MATHS IN CHEMISTRY
MATHS with a difference – Maths in Chemistry – organised on 2nd March 2020 – with the students of 11 A grade, presenting how to use Maths in the soap preparation.
MATHS IN BANKING BUSSINES
On 16th October 2020, maths teacher Narcisa Macovei had a different type off maths lesson with the pupils of 10th A profesional school. They learn about deposits, loans, interests. When you enter in a bank you have to know how the bussines works, They simulate that one person wants to make a deposit and calculate the interest rate according to the type of deposit.
MATHS IN ARCHITECTURE
On 21st October 2020, teacher Violeta Iacentiuc organised with the pupils from 9th grade the activity MATHS IN ARCHITECHTURE. A presentation about maths applied in architecture had been made and pupils had the mission to design their dream house using geometry and .... imagination or inspiration.
Pupils made an exhibition with their works and the pupils that were online also made beautiful designs.
MATHS IN BIOLOGY
On 4th November 2020, Biology teacher Roxana Chitială organised the activity Maths in Biology, presenting to the pupils notions of biomathematics, which is used in citology, genetics and epidemiology.
Pupils solved citology problems usinng Maths.
FIRST LINES OF CODE - MATHS IN PROGRAMMING
On 4th December 2020, teacher Violeta Iacentiuc organised an online activity about writing the first lines of code in the frame of the international event HOUR OF CODE. Pupils were excited to see that their code is moving the cartoon characters as they command. 
FAMOUS NUMBERS IN MATHEMATICS
On 21st December 2020, teacher Andreea Tui organised the online activity FAMOUS NUMBERS.
Pupils learned about famous numbers and he stories behind them: Pi, Golden Number.
