HUNTING FOR MATHS is our special project task. It is a trip during which students visit places somwhow connected with Mathematics or do things connected with the subject, look for Maths around the place, solve tasks, discover places connected with famous (or not) mathematicians. Simply - they look for Maths around :-)
The Polish team had their trip in Septemeber 2021. They visited Wrocław and look for Maths in the Old Town of this beautiful city. They took part in a city game organised but a qualified tourist guide working in the city. They had to solve various tasks mainly connected with ... counting!
After lunch and some short relaxation we visited Hydropolis- an interactive museum of water. We learned a lot about water and had a lot of fun being able to use all these inteactive tools there. The most interesting were the numbers connected with water and the human body. We highly recommend HYDROPOLIS! You can't miss it while visiting Wrocław :-)
Have a look at some photos!

Hunting for Mathematics at PELSS "Chelopech", Bulgaria
The originally planned trip to Sofia for the project team failed due to the pandemics and we decided to “hunt for mathematics” in our nearest area. This is how we came across a famous mathematician who was born and raised in the village of Chelopech. The research was done by a project member, Kristiana Belova, who dedicated her time and effort to get acquainted with the mathematician’s life and work.
