Mathematics is considered to be one of the most difficult subjects to study. It is associated with something hard to understand, demanding and complicated. When we ask students which subjects are the most problematic for them they mostly say that Maths is one of them. We decided to fight this opinion through this project. We want to encourage the students to play with Maths, not only study it. The other thing is to show young people that Maths will not finish when they leave school as it is there, in the real life, no matter if they like this idea or not. We hope to achieve these goals doing the following activities: - a series of lessons MATHS WITH A DIFFERENCE - a series of lessons MATHS IN BIOLOGY/CHEMISTRY/ENGLISH - Maths marathons - dofferent kinds of competitions - running a students' blog (quizes, online tasks etc.) - Christmas Maths challenge - mathematical Valentine's Day - Pi Day celebrations - Maths Day celebrations - trips - workshops MATHS IN REAL LIFE
