We are active even in corona times. We want to keep in touch together to see each other, to ask about the situation in schools.
1st online meeting
2nd October 2020, 15:00 (Slovak time)
We organized the online meeting with school coordinator via google meet. The project coordinator Alžbeta Krúpová welcomed the participants. We discussed about the situation back to school in September. It is pity we couldn´t organize the joint staff training activity in Lithuania planned for September. We all agreed to wait till spring if it is possible to go on mobility or we will organize virtual meeting.
We discussed the work to be done in the month of October and November. Lets hope this unpleasant times will pass away and we will be able to meet each other face to face and continue on project work.
This is the summary of the work to be done in the next months:
1. Download the excel document
2. Check what your school has done ✔ and what needs to be done (empty cell).
3. During next months while we are not travelling on mobilities, find time to upload the activities you have already done at schools into correct twinspace page. (Not only pictures but explanation of the activity, too). Would be good to do it now, later we will enjoy mobilities.
4. During October send 5 English and 5 native language poems with scan of illustrations to Jolanta´s (email) - Latvian team is responsible for poem book of the project.
5. Next meeting 6 November at 15.15 ( Slovak time)
6. In November send 4 instructions how to make toys for pets (choose from dog, cat, rabbit, hamster, bird) to Betka´s (email). Slovak team is responsible for the final product - Do it yourself instruction book. Photos of kids making it, tools, materials, final product, She will send the template to see how it will look like.
7. In October join Code week according to Basque team instructions

2nd online meeting
23rd March 2021, 15.00 Brussels time
We organized the online meeting with school coordinator via Google meet. The project coordinator Alžbeta Krúpová welcomed the participants. We discussed about the situation back to school after Christmas and actual situation in each school. The coordinator thanked the participants for help with the interim report. It was accepted. . We all agreed to take advantage if the situation gets better and we will try to organise the meeting in Spain in June 2021. As we couldnt organise any mobility so far, we agrreed to prepare contracts and have them signed by school principals and then ask the National agency of Slovak Erasmus+ to postpone the end of the project period until 31st August 2022.
We discussed the work to be done in the month of April and May. Easter decorations and greetings, Earthe Day activities.
Congratulations to Spanish and Slovak school for receiving the eTwinning School 2021-2022 Awards.
Lets hope this unpleasant times will pass away and we will be able to meet each other face to face and continue on project work.
3rd Online meeting
On Monday, 17th May 2021, at 15.00 Brussels time, the projects partners had another online meeting via Zoom. This time Gabriele was responsible for preparing the meeting platform.
The programme was simple - to schedule the meetings for the next school year. First the suggestion was to travel to Spain on June 14 2021. The Slovak, Latvian, Italian team could travel. Lithuanian team would go to quarantine after returning from the LTTA. In Turkey the situation is the worse nowadays, so they are not recommended to travel abroad yet. The partners agreed not to organise the meeting in June as not all the partners could travel. Alzbeta has prepared the google form for all partners to choose the dates. Results of the survey are presented below.

The 4 possible dates that suited everyone were :

We agreed on - October - Lithuania, January - Spain, April - Turkey, June - Slovakia
After Nusret had presented the dates to his team, they refused to travel in January, because of bad weather conditions and cold.
During the videomeeting, partners tried to solve that problem, and they agreed to change January for September 13 - 17, 2021.
Slovak team will join the meeting. However, the coordinator of the project, Alzbeta, will not be able to join, due to organisational reasons in Slovak school.
The new schedule is as follows:
13 - 17 September 2021 - Lithuania
25 - 29 October 2021 - Spain
25 - 29 April 2022 - Turkey (LTTA with pupils)
06 - 10 June 2022 - Slovakia (final meeting)
Partners agreed on activities to do in schools during May and June - worksheets about environmental topics (page 4.8) and environmental Geography (page 4.16).
Alzbeta has sent the excel document showing the progress in Twinspace and asked the partners to add activities thay had done in schools into Twinspace.
Later, they all discussed the situations in each school, restrictions and conditions. It seems the situation is getting better in every country, and we all hope to meet offline soon. Alzbeta thanked all teams for a great job they were doing in schools and ended the meeting.
4th online meeting
28nd May 2021, 09:15 (Brussels time)
This we had a great time, because our meeting was full of pupils. 6 schools, and at least 5 kids from each school participated in the online meeting. Pupils introduced themselves and told us about some of the topics - how they liked/disliked the distance learning, what new they could learn during pandemic and shared with us their green activities at schools. As the school year is almost over, kids told us about their plans for the holidays. It was a wonderful time spent together.
