Rural Sports Day

The sixth graders have practiced the "Zesta punta". It is a Basque sport, one of the best known internationally, but at the moment it is about to disappear. The tool it is play with has been replaced by recycled laundry soap containers. In addition to learning about a sport almost unknown to them, they have learned the usefulness of recycled packaging.

Our 4th grade students have practiced rural sports in the Basque Country. These sports come from ancient professions.
Log splitters, weightlifting, corn picking ... all made from recycled material.
