Our students were asked to write some poems about recycling, some decided to join eachother and write them in groups of two, some wanted to do it alone, because it's easier to rhyme that way. No matter what methods they chose, everyone managed to write beautiful poems.
Mūsų Žemė
Numetus šiukšlę ant asfalto,
Nė nesuvokiam kas nutinka.
Mūs Žemė sunkiai dirbti turi,
Kad panaikintų šiukšlę vieną.
Saugodami Žemę – saugom ir save,
Nes jei mes Žemės netausosim,
Vėl dinozaurai atkeliaus...

Our Earth
After trash hits the ground,
We don‘t even understand what happens.
Our Earth has to work really hard,
To get rid of each piece.

Jei išaugai drabužius,
Atiduok tu juos kitiems.
Jei turi tu butelių,
Eik ir perdirbk juos kartu.

There‘s Only One Earth!
It may be hard to recycle,
But it‘s easy living.
We‘re all surrounded by the same nature,
7 continents and 5 oceans.

When we litter.

Visi turėtų keliauti į rūšiavimo dėžes.
Tai visai paprastas planas,
Laikykis jo kiek gali dažniau!

It is a very easy plan,
Do it as often as you can!
