  • PEN PALS

At the very beginning of the project, the idea emerged to create an address database for students from partner schools who would like to correspond with their peers from abroad.

This way, a list of 162 people from four partner schools was created: 67 students from Slovenia, 39 from Italy, 9 from Estonia and 47 from Poland. The coordinator matched them in international pairs and each person got the address of their penfriend.

Very quickly, the correspondence from paper letters moved to social media, email, joint online games, and some of these letters have never received a reply ...
However, many people made friends abroad in this way, finding a great opportunity to improve their English language skills.

In the survey for Polish students, 100% of the respondents answered that corespondence with their penfriends made their motivation to learn a foreign language increased.
