The lake is situated near the school. Students had a lesson of biology studying how to measure level of pollution researching amount of lichen and rubbish.

The results of the study showed that the area is no polluted much, but there is a considerable amount of litter scattered and some placed used for having a barbeque, where the amount of rubbish is significant.

The prevailing type of litter is bottle lids, cans and plastic bottles.
