ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
June 2019
ID: P15
This activity is planned for June 2019, but each school can organize it at any time. It can be combined with an already planned school event.
This activity is intended to involve pupils, parents, and the community in the project. Each school invites parents to prepare traditional bakes from different countries. Particular effort is made to reach out to parents from different ethnic backgrounds. At each school, the resulting bake sale can be organised as a standalone event or become part of another school celebration. It may also include the sale of crafts from other project activities. Pupils wearing project T-shirts are responsible for selling the bakes and providing information about their country of origin, as well as the project in general. Raised funds are donated to a charity related to the project’s objectives.
