HOLIDAY E-CARD EXCHANGE

  • HOLIDAY E-CARD EXCHANGE

    December 2018

    ID: P20 and P21

PARALLEL STAGE: Participating pupils learn to design e-cards using a free design software or website. The visual content of cards showcases each culture’s holiday traditions. Teachers guide pupils in selecting interfaith holiday greetings, which they write in their own language and also translate into English.

INTERACTION STAGE/ FOLLOW-UP/ OUTPUT: Pupils exchange their e-cards before schools close for their winter holiday. Upon their return to school, partners further exchange a compilation of responses to the e-cards with pictures and videos of pupils trying to read wishes in a language they do not speak.
