PARALLEL STAGE: The parallel stage of this activity takes place in the months of July and August 2019, when schools are closed. Before the end of the academic year, all pupils are asked to take photos of their encounters with any aspect of cultural heritage during their summer holidays, at home or abroad.

INTERACTION STAGE: In September, partners exchange their photo collections and pupils work through them to learn about their peers’ discoveries in other countries. They locate the geographic origin of each photo and, with the assistance of ICT teachers, chart them on an interactive digital map.

FOLLOW-UP:  A single digital map with all photos is produced and shared on TwinSpace, the project’s blog, and all schools’ websites.
