JULY-SEPT 2019 - Aricles 6-15

Main theme is, access to fairness, courts, and judgment of people and prejudice as a part of the schools social studies curriculum. Here students will
deal with questions as: What is prejudice? Do they aim more often to some groups than other? Does everyone have assessed to courts?
Visit to Netherlands where students will show their work done in their own school and present it to each other.
We will start the week with teambuilding activities so that students will work together in different groups and get to know each other better.
We think it´s important for the students to discuss the subject with each other. Our plan is to make some exercises where they have to discuss
human rights and what it is for each of them. Then they have to work together and speak for the things they feel are important for human rights. They
have to read a few of human rights declarations and compare with their own thoughts.
They will also visit with a guide tour the International Court in den Haag. The only court in whole Europe about International law.
After visiting the International court we will plan discussion groups about the court and how they think it works in the Europe nowadays. What kind of
    affects this court may have.
They will also visit and old prison and will have a guide there that tells us some about the human rights long ago.
After visiting the old prison we will have discussion groups about prison comparing with the old days and the usefulness of keeping persons inside
    prison.
We will visit a shelter of refugees and get a tour there and then our students can ask Questions to those refugees.
After this tour we will plan a meeting with the persons that are responsible fort his shelters and they will explain the students why this is necessary
    and ho wit works.
After that they can ask Questions and have to make their own presentation about what they have learned.
We will have an organization named “Estelli”, that will give lessons in World citizenship.
And after their lessons they will have a discussion with all students from all countries about the subject World citizenship.
