    Video of the Erasmus+ meeting with students on Malta held on 9-13 May 2022 in Victoria, Gozo within the Erasmus+ project No. 2019-1-CZ01-KA229-061113. The project´s name is "European citizenship - Cultural heritage unites us" and it is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Within the 5 working days of the meeting, participants visited the cultural heritage in Victoria and Valletta historic centres along with playing treasure hunt in Spanish in Cittadella del Gozo and the UNESCO sight Ggantija megalithic temples. There were also plenty of other project activities such as traditional meal Ftira preparation, craft workshop, photo competition, lesson of Maltese language to create Language survival kit, workshops, Twinspace mini projects presentations, Kahoot quizes, tasting of Maltese cuisine (food prepared by Maltese students) and many others.

    Press release in English - meeting on Malta

    This is an official press release about the meeting with students on Malta in May 2022 which can be used either in English or translated into national languages and used by all participating schools for the dissemination purposes.

  • In Victoria, Gozo, Malta, students of 3 participating schools of Malta, Spain and the Czech Republic met on 9 - 13th May 2022 to enjoy a week together exploring the cultural heritage of Malta.

    We had a lot of workshops about Maltese culture, we were preparing traditional meals and tasting Maltese cuisine, played Treasure Hunt in Spanish to find out more about the Cittadella of Gozo, we showed our eTwinning projects results (you can find them in this section too!) about the national languages of the participating countries, we created some material about the Maltese cultural heritage and visited places, learned some basic expressions in Maltese language, we talked about the importance of European citizenship with a local politician, visited the Cittadella of Gozo, the capital of Malta Valletta, the prehistoric temple of Ggantija and enjoyed some natural beauties of Gozo and Comino too. Within a workshop we took many photos and students were competing for the best photo in a photo competition. Dannish teachers came for the job shadowing and joined us in some project activities too.

    We enjoyed a lot of fun together!
