In this activity our project aims to prevent early dropping out. During the project activities the participating teachers shared their experience with this actual problem and with the ways of preventing it. In particular they focused on teaching students entrepreneurial skills and organising short-term work practice. The benefit was that each school through its teachers got to know different approaches how to motivate students in their study and to develop their entrepreneurial and other skills (such as presentation, organization, communication skills etc).
Because the Czech coordinating school had already been benefiting from the experience with preventing dropping out gained from the previous Erasmus+ project, the school was pleased to share their knowledge of various methodological approaches to fight against early dropping out and to present their two ways of fighting this problem to the participating schools. During the training activity (of teachers in the Czech Republic which was originally planned for the end of the project duration but because of the covid pandemia this meeting overtook the meetings with students) at the beginning and at the end of the activity all the schools shared their experience and good practice and ideas how to use the newly gained knowledge and experience in their own schools. All these ideas were put into a report summarising different approaches of all the participating schools to dropping out, different ways of teaching students´ entrepreneurship and carrying out students´ internships. The report will be used back at the partner schools to spread the newly gained information, above all during the teachers’ meetings and also the report will be published on the project webpage (here in the section TwinBoard) for the wide public to have the opportunity to learn different approaches to dropping out prevention so that more people can benefit from the gained experience.
