International collaboration between partners in the project and local activities allowed to gain this objective.

• Planned percentage of pupils who acquired competences and motivation as a result of the project activities: 30% of the target group of the participating schools.

Over 80% students participating in the project like/can work in pairs or groups with colleagues. Almost 70% can express feelings and opinions. Self-confidence, openess and ability to work in a group were important results of the project mentioned by students during interviews after th project. They are more interested in knowing different cultures and almost all feel a citizen of Europe. Only in Poland at the beginning of the project all students felt a part of Europe, in other partner countries this factor was lower (77-97%) and increased thanks the project. Their knowledge of Poland, France, Estonia and Portugal has increased. Students speak English better and know some words/ expressions in 3 partner school languages (Polish/ French/ Estonian/ Portuguese). They are more confident in speaking foreign language.

 

Teachers easily discuss and express feelings and opinions. All are interested in knowing different cultures and feel a citizen of Europe - these factors increased during the project. It is easier for then to talk in English with foreigners and they know some words / expressions in 3 partner school languages (Polish/ French/ Estonian/ Portuguese).

 

During the project was organised linguistic preparation for teachers, pupils and parents to improve skills in English. Depending on needs and school opportunities were led extra lessons for teachers (Estonia and Poland), parents (Poland and Portugal) and student (Poland). These acivities helped to increse language skills.

 

Important aspect in partner schools is headmasters' opinion. Percent of teahcers who speak or learn English language increased from 17% in 2016 to 85% in 2018. Opinions on knowing Europe, including its diversity among teachers is similar. Level of intercultural awareness within the school community is much more satisfactory, than before the project. Students' opinions after the project:

Poland:

• I have the desire to visit different countries.

• I am more open to new cultures and my relationships with people have improved.

• The project has changed in me primarily the perception of people from other countries for better, more tolerant. I learned a lot about partner countries, and I dare say that this knowledge will be useful in the future. I also had the opportunity to make new acquaintances as well as to get to know the Polish participants closer. The project has had a big, positive surprise on me.

• Participation in this project made me broaden my knowledge about partner countries. My language skills have increased. I also have many new and wonderful friends.
