19.Increased pupils competences and motivation in science, mathematics and entrepreneurship.

  • The results achieved by students thanks to wide range of activities such as: competitions in a field of science, participation in events organised by science institutions and innovative lessons, exhibitions on mathematics, science and professions and many others in the project.

    Thanks to the project students gained new competences and changed their attitude to MST and entreprenurship. They know these brands better what is shown in answers to the same questions at the beginning of the project (10.2016) and after (06.2018). Most students agree that Mathematics is useful to solve problems in everyday life and that knowing Science/ Maths/ Technology is necessary in most professions. Number of students who like Science increased from 47% to 67%. More are eager to learn/know new things about Maths and Science. Twice more use digital tools/apps/computer in learning. In 2016 only 38% of pupils participated in innovative learning activities, for example: educational projects, working in groups, educational trips, experiments etc. After the project - 69%. This knew knowledge caused that more students will choose a job/profession in the Science, Maths, Technology field and -and the same time- less. Students just know better MST professions and are able to take proper decisions. They also enhanced key competeces: mathematical competences and basic competences in S&T, digital competence and Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship.

    Students' opinions after the project:

    • I think that the Science 4 all project will affect my future in such a way that I will try to learn more about the topics that fascinated me in this project.
    • I learned more about Estonia and chemistry, now I know what were the great mathematicians.
    • I think that this project help me to change my future job.
    • It increased my Mathematical and English skills. And saw me road in life.
    • New skills, science about stones and meteorites.
    • It changed a lot in my life. For instance, i have known a lot in area of Geography, Mathematics, Physics etc. I’m certain that I will change a job connected with natural sciences.
    • Of course i has a lot of knowledges about different sciences(chemistry,geography and language skills) I guess it was so useful for me and i will to use that skills in my life.
